Story / Description: A set of six handmade wool felt chair pads in lavender-purple and white. Each 40 cm pad is thick, soft and naturally cushioning, adding warmth and comfort to dining chairs, stools, benches or window seats. Wool is naturally breathable and resilient, so the pads stay comfortable through long dinners and cozy afternoons, and keep their shape for years.

The soft purple and white palette brings a gentle, calming touch to any room, and it’s lovely for festive gatherings too. It makes a thoughtful gift for a new home, or for anyone who values slow, beautiful things made with meaning.

Craft / Technique / Artisans: For generations, felt in the Himalaya has meant warmth: rugs for cold floors and blankets for long mountain winters. In the Kathmandu Valley, felting has grown into one of Nepal’s best-loved crafts, practiced largely by women. Each Halo pad is wet-felted by hand using only wool, warm water and soap. The artisans roll and press the fibers again and again until they lock into a dense, durable felt, then shape and finish each pad one at a time. For our artisans, this is skilled, dignified work that provides an independent income and keeps a centuries-old tradition alive.
