nspiration: Patan’s old stone courtyards are grey and weathered by centuries, and they glow orange in the last light of the day and the marigolds of festival season. This version of the Halo chair pad brings that grounding stone and festive warmth into your home.
Story / Description: A set of six handmade wool felt chair pads in stone grey and marigold orange. Each 40 cm pad is thick, soft and naturally cushioning. It brings comfort to dining chairs, kitchen stools, benches and outdoor seating under cover. The grey keeps it grounded and easy to style, while the pops of orange add warmth and a touch of celebration.
Wool is breathable, durable and naturally resilient, so these pads are made for everyday use and years of gatherings. They’re a meaningful handmade gift for anyone who prefers things made slowly, with care, and with a story worth telling.
Craft / Technique / Artisans: Wet felting is one of the simplest crafts in the world, and one of the hardest to master. All it takes is wool, water and soap, but turning loose fibers into thick, even felt requires hours of rolling, pressing and patience. Women artisans in the Kathmandu Valley have refined this skill over years, carrying forward a Himalayan tradition as old as wool itself. Felt is natural and biodegradable, and it is made to last, not to be replaced.
